Just as fans of popular SABC 1 soapie Skeem Saam had resigned themselves to the fact that Leshole and Kwaito had the worst luck in the world, in came Wallet.
The hospital porter, played by Molefi Monaisa, lived that jetset life before he went bust and got a job in Turfloop. But now, after a series of events, fans fear the character might commit suicide or disappear entirely.
Wallet has been through a lot in the recent past and it was clear even before he went to claim his money that (Wallet) is going to fall into the trap and is going to be difficult to come out. Do you think that Wallet was justified to attack Mr Kgomo for delaying to pay him his pension money?
I think the character of “Wallet” is more interesting and confusing at the same time. It is not clear as to whether he is an educated character or one who happen to just know the language,spoken English. His background is rather confusing in that you would not really know why he is using the accent and the English language as a character.
On a personal level, the character appears to be very educated and does not fit well in terms of his language as you would have expected him to have a descent employment. Well, i still believe that the guy can act, though, especially even when he is given a simple character.
His character is believable as it is clearly shown through his physical body. One thing though about him is the temper which is going to put him in trouble. On the contrary, the language spoken is completely different as it appears to be thrown on a different environment that which he is not supposed to be.
